The Edgars brand with stores in the larger towns and cities aims to be the leader in classical and commercial fashion clothing offered to the middle to upper income groups. Edgars merchandise is competitive in price and is of the highest quality encompassing exclusivity and the best of national brands for the entire family. Customers are offered service of the highest standards, together with credit facilities in prestigious life style shopping environments.

The Express brand is a cash Chain which aims to be the number one retailer of core commercial classic and contemporary merchandise for the family. It caters for the lower to middle income group who wish to buy quality merchandise at affordable prices. Cash and lay-by shopping facilities are offered in compact but pleasant shopping environments. Stores operate in areas where the best business opportunities are evident. Merchandise ranges are provided for the whole family and consist of clothing, footwear, cosmetics, household textiles and school uniforms.    

Carousel, incorporating the Lee Jeans company, is our manufacturing division situated in Bulawayo and produces a wide range of ladies wear and gents casual wear. The comany supplies the retailing chains within the group and other retailers. We also have a growing number of overseas customers to whom we export.

In April 2006, the Group opened its first Expressmart store.  Expressmart are stores that sell Express clothing as well as other items sold by general dealers such as white goods, kitchenware, hardware and a variety of other goods.

DISTRIBUTION

In addition to two major distribution centres in Bulawayo, we operate a large distribution centre in Harare. The latter is fully conveyorised in order to speed up throughput and is the most advanced of its kind in Zimbabwe. These centres handle over 6 million units of merchandise annually.

Our Corporate Headquarters is situated in a modern office block in the centre of Bulawayo. Hundreds of people employed in the service departments of the Group are comfortably accommodated here.
