The establishment of Fenaol Coffee Trading PLC dated back to 2014. The founder, who is also the owner and  Managing Director of the company, had been working on the coffee sector for more than 20 years both as a primary collector and supplier to exporters. He had also worked with different exporters before establishing his own company (Fenaol).

Fenaol is devoted and committed to delivering the well know and Ethiopian Arabica organic Coffee which is unique by its aromatic and sweet flavor, richness in acidity, spicy, flora, or mocha taste. It is a member of Ethiopian Coffee Exporters Association; Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX); and Ethiopia Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Association.

The company is led by a strong management team and equipped with well-experienced professionals in the coffee sector that make it to become one of the well know and influential companies in the coffee export market sector. 

In 2019 alone, the company exported on average 2,000 MTON of Harar and Lekempti coffee to Middle Eastern Countries. Now, it reached the capacity to export 4,000MTON to global customers and users in Europe, America, and Asia market both in roasted and raw coffee.

The company received a lot of recognition certificates and awards from clients who have been working with it and from the government for its contribution to social development and corporate responsibility especially through donating scholastic material and improving school infrastructure.

Internationally known and recognized as Harar Trade Brand Name Many roasters are attracted to its fine and fruit flavor and are willing to pay a premium price for it. Quality Harrar coffees are notable for a fruity characteristic and a creamy body. The finest Harrar coffees have a distinct note of blueberry, though many other fruity and fruit-like aromatic flavors can occur, with medium acidity, full body and a distinctive mocha flavor. Its intensity means it is most commonly used in espresso blends, rather than single origin.
