SDS has exported a substantial quantity of marble and granite in raw blocks to Italy, USA and Saudi Arabia. In the domestic market, it became one of the leading and dominating supplier with its exquisite marble products. The company has three own branches and three additional distribution agents with in the country. Its branches are located Addis Ababa, Mekelle and Adwa. In Saba Stone you find both the beauty and strong natural stones of marbles, granite, limestone and Terrazzo tiles.

SDS  is one of the members of the holding company of  EFFORT which was established in 1992 with paid up capital of 76 million Birr. Its main activity is to extract process and market various dimensional stone products to the international and domestic markets. 

At present the company has over 200 employees. All our technical staffs are well qualified and highly skilled. They have had extensive on the job training through the intervention programs form CDI (Belgium) SES (Germany) and through hired Italian and Philippine experts well-versed in the marble industry.
