The J Adom Group is a limited liability company established in 1976 initially as Messrs Techiman Roads & Building Contractors Limited. The change of name became necessary as a result of the increased scope of operations of the company and was effected after a Special Resolution and with the Approval of the Registrar of Companies on the 25th of March, 1992.

Adom Limited is the parent company of the J. Adom Group. It engages in Road and building construction and distribution of Ghacem's Cement products. Currently J Adom Limited is on a $47 million Berekum-Sampa road construction to be completed within three years. In addition to this project are other ones such as: PSI Garment village project - $3.2 million; Wenchi Town roads -$1.9 million and Sunyani Town roads - $1.0 million; Techiman town Roads -$1.0 million; Sunyani and Berekum Police Barracks -$1.0 million and Techiman Assembly Block - $800k. Further, the company has submitted bids to construct the Nsawkaw-Namasa Road phase 2 (estimated earn $17 million) and Kintampo town Road -$3.1 million.
Until recently the company was headquartered at Techiman in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana, approximately 370km from Accra. The new headquarters of the company is No. 6 Embassy Street, Osu RE, Accra.
