Pasico Ghana Limited was established over 60 years ago as a one-stop shop for building materials. It sold everything from cement and iron rods to finishes like tiles and plumbing fittings. Gradually with changes in ownership as well as changing marketing conditions, the range of products have become specialised. Today, Pasico West Africa offers two specialised service categories: Engineering and Building Materials.
Pasico, headquartered in Accra, Ghana is a subsidiary of Paterson Simons (Africa) Ltd. Based in Brighton, UK which had been trading in Ghana since 1948. Paterson Simons owns 73% of Pasico, 17% of the shares are held by local shareholders and the balance of 10% is held by Pasico employees.
Pasico has a head office in Accra, Ghana which is also the location of their security grille, and louvre window building materials factories. The crane and forklift sales and engineering teams operate from offices and workshops in Tema, Ghana with a second team of engineers working from Takoradi. It is from our Takoradi base where Pasico serves the majority of Ghana’s mining industry.
Pasico presently has a workforce of over 130 people. We hold classification ‘A’ membership of the Ghana Association of Employers, Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Association of Ghana Industries. The Company has also received in recent years seven (7) Ghana Club 100 awards.
Pasico Ghana part-manufactures, imports and markets Naco Louvre Windows, including the popular Weatherbeater range as well as the Pasiguard brand of collapsible security grilles and roller shutters and doors.
Lifting Machines
Pasico sells, leases and supports a wide range of mobile hydraulic lifting and materials handling equipment from JCB, Konecranes, Manitowoc, Manitou, Terberg and Trelleborg Marine Systems. It runs an efficient after-sales support system with spare parts and workshop services which covers Ghana and the West African sub region.
