MPOZ refrigerant is an American Technology Transfer which is jointly owned by a Ghanaian entrepreneur Eric Amoa-Danquah, CEO and an American investor which was incorporated in July 2001 under companies code of 1963 Act 179 in Ghana.MPOZ was set up with the main objective to produce and market hydrocarbon refrigerant HC 12a and HC 22a which is globally ozone friendly.The MPOZ Company is located at Tema Industrial Area. MPOZ will be the first industry in Ghana and the Ecowas sub-region recognized as a leader in its own right as far as processing of HC 12a and HC 22a refrigerants are concerned. It will set its own standards within the industry and will be a major contributor to the Economic Recovery Programme (ERP) going on in the country through import substitution.
