Lamalo Eseentials is an agribusiness company that adds value to seeds. We make cold pressed seed oils like sesame oil, neem oil, castor oil, avocado oil, moringa, sheabutter, cocoa butter among others. The oils are made using the oil pressing machine at a low heat to ensure that the nutrients and vitamins in the oils are reserved. We use these same oils to make natural handmade soaps that are good for the skin for example soaps like aloevera, hotel soaps, lavender, avocado, africa, dogwash soap among others.
The soaps are also made in a traditional way and given 4 weeks to mature to ensure that the nutrients are reserved . We purchase our raw materials(seeds) from small holder farmers to ensure that their efforts are appreciated . We also work together with the small holder farmers to protect or reserve the indegenous seed trees like neem trees and shea trees as they are becoming scarce and are cut down for other purposes like charcoal .
Our seed cakes good animal fees and good organic fertilizers in the garden therefore we sell them to them to the smallholder farmers at an affordable price. We offer trainings and skills to the community and small holder farmers like how to handle post harves, quality control of seeds , financial management among others . We also offer hands on skills trainings like making handcrafted soaps ,liquidsoaps, crafts from banana fibres among others to the community by patnering with other organisations.
We do care about the enviroment thats why we provide eco friendly products as well as planting trees that can generate income for example castor, moringa ,shea, neem and fruit trees. We currently offer education to 2 girls and we believe that the more we grow the more we will be in position to empower more youths and women in the communities, create more job opportunities and promote the community wellbeing. Remember every product you buy from Lamalo Essentials ,you are indirectly supporting small holder farmers in Uganda as well as child education.
