Ximuwu is unique in that it is the only truly exclusive lodge – you and your group are the only guests over 6,500 hectares of private nature reserve.
Established by Patrick and Elly Suverein, Ximuwu is a new luxury lodge hosting private group bookings of up to 8 guests at a time. We pride ourselves on giving our guests an authentic and private safari experience. During your stay at Ximuwu you will be looked after by our team of staff with the help of Patrick and Elly and their friends, Marcel and Monique. You also enjoy access to your own private game viewing vehicle, hosted and looked after by our guide and tracker. Schedules and activities are decided entirely by guests and you are able to decide what you would like to do according to your own timeline.

Our central lodge comprises an indoor and outdoor dining area, breakfast room, fully stocked bar, lounge, and covered patio. Our sun deck and firepit area overlook our 16m swimming pool and are the perfect place to relax and breathe in the landscape. With no other guests competing for space, the peace and serenity are all yours.
LIGHT & SPACIOUS
Designed to accommodate a maximum of eight guests across our four spacious and comfortable suites, Ximuwu offers an untold level of comfort. Our suites all surround the main lodge within close proximity of each other, yet still maintain a level of seclusion so you can be assured of privacy.
Our suites are north-facing with floor-to-ceiling windows, guaranteeing maximum natural light and a spectacular view. Each of our suites overlooks one of the reserve’s water holes and boasts magnificent views of the passing parade of wildlife that come to drink their fill.
