While staying with us you can have a very lazy time relaxing on your veranda soaking up some breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean or lazying by the pool soaking up the warm rays of the African sun. You can also be a little more adventurous and take a reef and cave walk or come snorkelling with us. And for those who would want to venture out, any trip or excursion can be easily arranged. 

Tijara is situated only 30 min drive from Diani with its diving and deep sea fishing centres and only 40 min drive from the Island of Mombasa with its historical Old Town and Fort Jesus. For some wildlife and a sundowner or a picnic an afternoon trip to Shimba Hills National Reserve is highly recommended, and having left Tijara after lunch you will be there in 40 minutes. It is a small park but it is the only place in East Africa where you can see beautiful Sable Antelopes which are now unfortunately endangered.
