KK is one of the largest security companies in East Africa. It is also one of the oldest having started in Mombasa nearly forty years ago. It is the market leader in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Eastern Congo. KK Security has been operating since 1965. It was started as a Guard Company in Mombasa and later expanded into Radio Alarms and security products such as CCTV. After being registered, KK Security acquired all licenses and permits to operate in Burundi in June 2003. Currently, the company has over 700 employees in Burundi. With its professional Management Team and dedicated staff, KK Security provides Security Services to more than 180 customers across the country using over 680 guards and 200 Alarms.

KK Security Ltd provides manned guarding services, canine security, facilities management, cash management, global travel risk management and training to clients throughout East and Central Africa. In 2016 we were acquired by GardaWorld, the world’s largest privately owned security company. KK Security now forms an integral part of GardaWorld’s African network.

Today, KK Security has expanded its area of operation by offering tailored services to Bujumbura and other major provincial centers such as Muremera, Cibitoke, Muyinga, Kirundo, Makamba and Rutana.

Over the years, we have gained a lot in human resource development with intensive training programs for our Guards Force, Supervisors, Response Crew Members and all our employees to ensure that we can provide professional services.

Our Guards are Certified First Aid and Fire Marshall Officers. They undergoes intensive training from Observation Techniques, Search Methods, Communications and Leadership Skills, Physical Fitness, Patrol Techniques and Other skills required to provide a quality service to our customers.

Management and Supervision of Guards are essential to our organization. Two methods of electronic surveillance are used at our client premises added to the constant human supervision operated by our Mobile Vehicle Supervision and Operational Management.
