As a pan-African energy group we are well on the way to becoming a leader in the African markets where we are present. Our ambition is to be a key partner across the African continent for those working in the energy and hydrocarbons sectors. In the attempt to achieve its goals OiLibya has set clear values to be adhered to in order to help ensure that OiLibya operates at all times in a responsible and professional manner. Our group is currently engaged directly or indirectly in exploration and production in 7 countries: Chad; Gabon; Morocco; Tunisia; Egypt; Namibia; and Oman.
Our principal aim in our day-to-day business is to meet the needs of our partners and customers, to whom we offer effective and efficient solutions to their energy needs and problems, and to do so in conformity with international standards and to the highest levels of customer care.
We recognise that to do this requires commitment from our employees across Africa, and a team effort. We are proud to say that our employees are dedicated, professional and hard working, and we are steadily building a reputation as a model employer which recognises and rewards such efforts.
As responsible members of the world today we have set demanding goals to ensure that all our operations are conducted with three elements to the fore: safety (avoiding injury to anyone or damage to property) health (protecting all involved from hazards) the environment (reducing to a minimum our environmental impact) which we refer to together as SHE. All OiLibya companies regularly report on whether they are achieving the SHE standards we set. If not, corrective action is swiftly taken.
