Created in 1990 in the Republic of Benin by ten (10) Pharmacists founders, with a capital of twenty-five million (25,000,000) CFA francs to expand national distribution platform providing essential medicines for populations, Union of Pharmacists Benin (UBPHAR SA) specializes in the import, storage and distribution of pharmaceutical and para-pharmaceutical.

In order to adapt supply to demand, our institution, today limited company with capital of 804,540,000 (804,540,000) CFA francs, has constantly improved its sales volume currently gathering over seven thousand (7,000) references of different product categories such as:

medication ;
the Chemist;
the dressings;
dietetics;
Cosmetics;
the perfume shop.

On a staff of five (05) at the start of business on 02 January 1992 , we employ today ninety-three (93) persons of which eight (8) in the distribution center opened á Parakou in July 2003. Similarly, our market share of about 2% is passed á 30% in 2011.

This managerial and commercial development built after two decades, is the result of increased investment, process improvement and scope of product lines.

Despite this radiation, UBPHAR SA faces a double challenge:
