We are proud to be suppliers to some of the world's most famous brands in fashion and tourism. We supply to many NGOs, UN Agencies and Relief organizations across the African continent and beyond. Our staff are well versed in local climate conditions and are available to advise you on how different materials will perform under different climates.

Our three factories in Nairobi, Arusha and Kampala are constantly in touch to balance capacity and material requirements giving us a strategic edge to deliver quality products as quickly as possible. Tarpo's experience in the design and construction of tented camps is extensive to all types of camp: permanent, semi permanent & mobile.

We have two divisions, manufacturing and rental. Our rental division is operated under our sister company, Safariquip, offering small scale safari operators and outdoor event organizers an opportunity to rent out equipment on short to long term contracts.

With over two decades worth of experience working in harsh conditions we are trusted suppliers to NGOs and Relief organizations who have activities in remote areas. Collaboration with the different not-for-profits has resulted in a number of innovative shelter solutions and accessories, including hospital beds and portable water storage solutions.

Reliability, trust and short lead times are increasingly becoming more and more important to this market and we are always adapting our operations to suit these requirements. Tarpo is proud to have supplied to the five continents.

We have supplied tents to clients in Canada, the USA, Caribbean, UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Seychelles, Australia, South Africa, Rwanda, Burundi, Ghana, Nigeria, Central Africa, Somalia, Sudan, Zambia, Zanzibar to name just a few! Tarpo's Environment Policy is based on the mission statement in that, to deliver value it is important to incorporate health, safety and sound environmental practices in order to ensure a working environment that is conducive to maximum productivity both in terms of quality and quantity.

One way to achieve transparency is by adhering to the legal requirements of the land – and since taking care of our environment has now become a legal requirement, we shall continue doing it not only to follow rules but also because it really is the ethical thing to do.
