Interestingly the name, Siyasebenza, was voted for by the staff of the then TPT Workwear, an indication of the involvement and commitment of staff in the running of the business. Siyasebenza Manufacturing CC is a uniform manufacturer based in Durban, South Africa.
We also distribute head to toe safety workwear for industries in South Africa and take pride in their ability to provide workwear, uniform, promotional and safety wear solutions.
Siyasebenza Manufacturing CC manufacture two-piece suits (overalls), boilersuits (full overalls), dustcoats, ladies dustcoats/canteen suits, dungarees (the "bib and brace), kiddie jumpsuits, workwear trousers, promotional wear including aprons, two tone bush shirts, security shirts/trousers and corporate identity workwear
Siyasebenza Manufacturing CC distribute all other related head to toe safety workwear that include, amongst others; hardhats, various face shields and masks.
The factory and distribution centre is located in Durban Central and employees are mainly from Kwamashu, Phoenix and Quarry Heights (Avoca Hills) areas. For many years of the businesses' existence the main focus has been the wholesale market and continues to be a supplier to large safety workwear players in the market.
In order to sustain profitability and the ability of the organisation to provide the highest service standards, the focus has recently been directed to the retail market. The response by retailers thus far has been positive and the retail base of the company is steadily growing.
Siyasebenza relies on the high level of workmanship with which each garment is manufactured. Each garment is carefully manufactured to strict company standards and comply to high levels of quality control.
The close working relationship between management and staff has enabled the company to provide garments that meet the needs of the end user – the workforce. High levels of commitment from the dedicated production team enable Siyasebenza to maintain the high quality of garment produced.
