Engineering Projects and Consultancy

This service includes rolling out Optic Fiber cables within the city limits (access) and for long distances connecting major towns . The process involves the following activities:

Project Management services.

Commissioning and integration of network elements

Brief Overview of Engineering Projects

Project Planning which includes developing the Bill of quantities,cost analysis,resource allocation and project plans for implementation team. The intended project can be Copper based networks(structured cabling ),Microwave networks or fiber based networks. The main focus of this service is to be able to identify events, sequencing, restraints, and other project parameters such as work schedules to enforce a flexible control mechanism for achievement of project objectives Workforce is deployed on field for installation of Microwave networks,Fiber optics or Structured cabling.

During period,we deploy technical supervisors with vast experience who will be responsible for quality inspections, conducting end to end testing on the terminated netoworks, verifying all the specified standards outline at the inception of the project are adhered to and preparing a detailed report of the project.

Fiber Optic Installations

Through partnerships with a number of leading service operators in the Kenya and beyond. Icon Telesec offers a full range of Optic Fiber network connections for both SDH or WDM systems, GPON, and other network elements. Our implementation involves physical and logical connections.

Our maintenance services covers corrective maintenance which involves diagnosis of the fault reported. Icon Telesec boast of a well equiped fiber team who have experience in carrying out maintenance of fiber installations. Our Fiber department is well equiped with state of the art splicing machines and accessories relevant to the task.
