Eldohosp Pharmaceuticals Limited was started in 2004 as a wholesale division of Eldoret Hospital, which is one of the largest private hospitals in Kenya. The initial purpose for the wholesale division was to serve the needs of the pharmacies and institutions in the Rift Valley region in the supply of quality pharmaceutical formulations. We started by supplying drugs to various Tea Estates and small pharmacies/chemists in the Rift Valley region. When the demand for our services increased and spread to other regions such Nyanza, Western provinces, the decision to establish an independent company that would meet the growing demand was reached. On 23rd March 2005 the Company was registered under the name of ELDOHOSP PHARMACEUTICALS LIMITED.

Towards the end of 2009 a branch office was opened in Westlands, Nairobi to mainly serve Nairobi, Central, Eastern and Coast Province. With each successive years, we have enjoyed tremendous growth and currently our customer base is over a thousand spread across the entire country. We also supply major institutions such as Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, Moi University, Egerton University, Nzoia Sugar Company, Coptic Hospital, Nairobi Women’s Hospital and all major distributors in the country.

We are the distributors of companies like GlaxoSmithkline, Novartis, Sanofi, Bayer E.A Limited and Pfizer amongst others. We are also the importers of Surgicals and allied products. In addition, we are the main distributors for Torrent and Microlabs. With a strong team of over 70 qualified and experienced personnel which comprises of three pharmacists, we ensure that our customer’s expectations are exceeded in line with our policy of speed and efficiency at all times. At Eldohosp Pharmaceuticals Ltd, we aspire to grow from our current multi-million US$ turnover to become the leading Total Hospital Solution Centre for all hospital requirements such as lab items, radiology and disposables.
