Highway Car Cushion & Upholstery Ltd was incorporated in 1990. Initially the company started by offering its services to government & private institutions as well as individuals that needed their personal cars upholstered. HCCU was then contracted by General Motors East Africa-GMEA to become its supplier of soft trims for their Isuzu brand which they locally assembled. This relationship with GMEA has been ongoing for more than 25 years to date.
