Our range includes signs / sign maintenance, nameplates of every description, cut out letters, symbolic/safety signage, indicator boards, promotional items, key tags, badges, desk stands, medals, trophies, crests, vinyl decals for windows/ vehicle marking, magnetic vinyl decals, metal and vinyl labels, stamps, steel punches, embossing dies, and branding irons. We manufacture products made from aluminium, stainless steel, brass, copper, Perspex, plastics, rowmark, electro galvanised steel, chromadek, pvc, uhi and vinyl. 

We are engravers, with core business in etching, also screen printers and digital printers, and cnc routers. We have a signage rigging team who install on site. 

DOWD is a family owned business and was founded in 1956 by Thomas Dowd, who emigrated from the UK as a process engraver and specialist etcher. The factory is situated in the Stikland Industrial area in the northern suburbs of Cape Town.
