Starbow's BAe jets represent the first of its kind on the domestic front in Ghana, introducing real comfort and affordable luxury to the flying public. Starbow has helped change a previously held perception that flying domestically was the preserve of the rich and affluent in society. Starbow currently operates 46 departures a week and holds the largest market share of any carrier in the markets it operates in. Aero Surveys Limited was incorporated in October 1995 and begun trading under the name Starbow in 2011. It launched its inaugural flight to Kumasi in September 2011 and has continued to see tremendous growth in its operations since then. Starbow ultimately intends to provide direct flight services from Accra to other West African cities, making it easy and attractive to commute within the sub-region for either business or leisure.
