We are one of the largest manufacturers of shoes, Eva Slippers in Ethiopia.  As one of the largest footwear manufacturer in Ethiopia, we have earned an enviable reputation in the East African markets. Through the company’s prior involvement in the shoe making industry dates back to 6 years, Blacky Shoe and Sole was established in 2003 to produce PU sole, a year later PU injection shoe and presently EVA Slippers. It started operation with a single PU Sole making machine. 

Tapping from the long business experience (specially our managing director, 15 years experience in the shoe industry) it accumulated over the years in the foot wear industry and based on its clearly set objective of best serving its customers, the company expanded rapidly to become one of the leading local companies in the EVA slipper industry.

Currently, Blacky runs about four injection molding machines with 48 stations having high degree of automation and 60 employees (both permanent and temporary). Our annual production is currently 4,200,000 pairs (Both Women, Men and Kids). 

Fortified by the experience it gained and enriched by continually expanding know-how as well as its high standard of production, and better designs, Blacky can today claim a leading role in the market, making it and deservedly so, one of the major companies in this sector of the local economy. 

Amazingly, our products amply displayed in every corner of the country from the downtown of the metropolis to remote boundaries. It clearly reveals how much our products are needful, and the capacity of our distribution to cover the demands. 

Blacky activate four new and state-of-the-art injection molding machines with forty eight stations operated under a direct supervision of high qualified and well trained personnel’s comprises of sixty labors. We strongly believe that these two major factors among the few five us an opportunity to make a difference in the sector.
