Established in the late 1960's, Karania Packers was a salt packaging and baking powder manufacturing company. KAPA is an acronym derived from the title Karania Packers. With time, KAPA ventured into the productions of edible oils.

Our operations are based on the manufacture of edible oils, margarine, baking powder, detergent powder, laundry and toilet soaps and glycerine. We aim to lead the market in terms of quality and performance of our products and customer service.

KAPA is proud to be the first company to introduce use of reusable plastic containers for packaging cooking fats. This shifted the trend in the industry from use of metal tins. As the industry expanded, KAPA spread is wings further and ventured into the production of Detergent powder followed by Laundry soaps and recently Glycerin.

KAPA focuses on QUALITY, thus the achievement of being awarded certification for the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 in 2003. The edible oil processes used in production at KAPA are HACCP UK certified. This ensures that our customers get products of the highest food safety quality in the world. KAPA takes in pride in being the first in this manufacturing sector to be given this certification.
