The company's humble beginning was as N&B Transport (Pvt) Ltd back in 1973. Digby Nesbitt and Dale Barrett put their money together and bought an old truck, fixed it up and started transporting anything from sand to bricks to cattle for the local farmers in the Lowveld.

Unfortunately, after about a year Dale Barrett decided to immigrate to the United States and so Digby bought his 50% share in the company and went on his own. Incidentally, at the time Digby didn't have enough money to change the name of the company and so left it as N&B.

To expand our business ventures in farming, IT, tourism, property investment and tobacco manufacturing, whilst making every effort to offer unparalleled service, distribution, support and at the same time ensuring that we give back to the community in whatever way we can.
