Founded in 2013 for busy individuals who want to eat a healthy meal at the start of the morning or after a long hard day. Our Mission is simple- ensuring you have healthy food throughout the day, whether its breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between!
Our founder, Christine, did an East African circuit back in 2013 and one thing that stood out for her everywhere she went ( Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and DRC ) was the fact that it was very difficult to find snacks- chips, mandazi, sausages and such.
If you had a fast food craving, you had to go to the big hotels. Vendors in those areas sell the healthy stuff; the cassava, sweet potatoes, arrow roots.
In Kenya, these are readily available - by the road side, fast food shops, your mama mboga in the estate. And so she did her research, the reason why most of us eat these readily available unhealthy snacks, is their affordability and convenience. They are available on demand.
Most of us leave the house very early in the morning without having breakfast and we end up coming back home very late in the night very tired and we are usually tempted to reach out for the readily available and unhealthy food. We want everyone to have healthy meals throughout the day. We want to make eating healthy food your lifestyle.
