Established in 1995, we have evolved to our current size through commitment to service and dedication to providing for our client needs. Our backpackers lodge offers dormitory beds from N$170 per night(approx US$17). There is also a range of twin, double and three bed rooms for those wishing for more privacy. Chameleon Guesthouse offers more upmarket accommodation, the private rooms include en-suites and off street parking. Both the guesthouse and backpackers are centrally located within a few minutes walk from the city, with shopping centres, banks, the post office and restaurants easily accessible.

The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, informative and our aim is to make you feel at home. Breakfast is included each day as well as free tea and coffee. We have a laundry service, wi-fi internet so bring along your laptop, off street parking, solar heated swimming pool, braai (barbeque) area,video/lounge room and bar for your convenience.If you are coming to Windhoek for an extended period of time for a volunteer/ community project or internship please look at our great self catering flats for stays of 3 months or longer at the Chameleon "commune". Chameleon Safaris also offer safaris all over Namibia, the Delta and Vic Falls.

Chameleon Guesthouse offers a range of accommodation that is spacious with en-suite bathrooms, both standard rooms and luxury rooms, have off street parking and a continental self serve breakfast included. Full linen is provided, including towels and extra blankets in winter, the rooms also have either a ceiling fan or standing fan for the summer months. Secure off-street parking is free of charge.

The solar heated swimming pool, braai (barbeque) area, bar, self catering kitchen and wi-fi internet is conveniently located next door at the Backpackers Lodge. Centrally located the Guesthouse is within a few minutes walk of shopping centres, banks, restaurants, post office and the City Centre.

Chameleon is very conscious of our fragile environment so please support our recycling and conservation initatives for rubbish, water and food wastes. If you would like to ensurethe environmental impact ofyour holiday is limited then the Chameleon Guesthouse is the place to start and finish your vacation.
