Angolan Getaways commenced operations in 2005 with the establishment of Foz du Cuanza Lodge. We have a sister company Angolan Adventure Safaris which operates in the south of Angola and offers accommodation at Flamingo Lodge and near the mouth of the Cunene River. With recent stability in Angola, we have seen a dramatic increase of interest in Angola, with numbers of visitors almost doubling every year.

Angolan Getaways offers a wide range of services including Safaris to various parts of Angola, Fishing Safaris which include many remote and untouched fishing grounds, tour support for self drive guests, Tailor made Safaris to get you where you want to go and Boating Adventures on our live- aboard cruiser Angolan Dawn.

With Cuanza Lodge as our base in Northern Angola and Flamingo Lodge our base in the south, we can cover any part of the country. In Angola local knowledge is essential and with 10 years experience of touring the country we have strived to be the best tour operator in Angola.
