Brackenfell, South Africa
Bolt & Nut World cc was established on 15 March 1991 and first traded as RS Distributors. Working from home, Richard William Sims (Member) found it necessary to change the name of the company to a more suitable one, Bolt & Nut World CC. The name represents the product sold at Bolt & Nut. A company policy had to be adopted that would steer the business in the right direction and attract even more clients.
Bolt & Nut World was now on the Cape Town map, fully registered as a company and had to meet the demand of its first 6 customers. Performing well, the company made a bold move from 124 Northpine Drive to 8 Lood Street, Brackenfell in March 1992. The 115m2 building with warehouse and office was bigger than the main bedroom at home.
The move brought new business/clients and soon more people had to be employed to meet the demands and supply of our clients. Our aim and objectives was adopted to outline the business principle of the company. The slogan "We guarantee prompt and reliable service" was added to carry out the vision of the company."
As Bolt & Nut grew, space again became a problem due to the rapid growth of the company and bigger stock demand. We moved to 52 Viben Avenue, Brackenfell Industrial a year earlier than expected. The building consists of 3 units, which are used to carry stock from the smallest nut to the biggest bolt. Our stock is upgraded on a regular basis to meet the demands of our many valued clients which is why we are known as one of the biggest and best suppliers of fasteners in the Western Cape.
