Thereafter other contracts and work orders followed which expanded the stay of the founder. After a few years of working in the fields and on different sites throughout the country Mr. von Allmen decided to establish a workshop in Addis Ababa. The workshop was small in size but had an excellent reputation for metal processing in particular for aluminium welding services throughout the country. To this day VAE survived different regimes and socioeconomic ups and downs in Ethiopia and is still a house of quality.
