Somali Seafood Products Company (SSPC) is a privately registered seafood product cooperative, owned by Fishery business groups.The cooperative was established in 2005.The cooperative coordinates over 20 sizable fishing companies, the shareholders have many years of hands on experience in the seafood industry. The company was formed as a direct response to the need for trusted, reliable and dependable provider of fish and other seafood products in Somalia. The company currently operates from its head office located in Banaadir, Mogadishu, Somalia.

Somali Seafood Products Company (SSPC), provides fish and seafood products for both the Somalia and the global market. We are in the fish and seafood products business to make profits. We concentrate on fish and seafood products business.

The company owns a factory site/land (measuring 60m X 50m) for construction of a modern fishing plant. It also owns fishing boats, cold storage, vehicles and equipment including freezers, ice machines and chiller. The boats owned by the company include:

SSPC is involved in the extraction (fishing) of seafood products like fish, processing these products, storing, packaging and selling them both locally and internationally.  The company undertakes the business through a team of fishermen, skilled fish processors and network of retailers and marketers.
