Bearing Man Group, which was established in Durban as a single shop bearing company in 1974, has become Africa's leading distributor of bearings, seals, power transmission components, electric and geared motors, as well as belting, fasteners, filtration and hydraulics. 

The company now boasts a network of over 100 outlets in South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Botswana, Mozambique and Zambia.

BMG has secured the exclusive supply, service and distribution agreements with some of the world's most respected manufacturers of leading engineering consumables. These quality branded products have set the company apart, in a highly competitive industry. Ongoing staff and management training ensures up-to-date technical know how for efficient product selection, installation, application and repair. 

Respected brands include NSK, IKO, NTN and Timken bearings, Hallite seals, Esco and Fenner couplings, as well as Tsubaki Chain, Nord geared motors, Pall filtration and leading hydraulic brands like Eaton/Vickers.

The company's new technical resources division is committed to enhancing process plant operating reliability in every industrial sector. Specialist services include technical applications consulting, product and system design, on-site process analysis, lab and on-site oil analysis, product quality control and assurance, as well as condition monitoring services. 

BMG, which is a division of Humulani Marketing (Pty) Ltd, has achieved a level 3 BEE status.

This new accredited level 3 status means BMG customers can claim BEE procurement recognition of 110 % against all purchases.
