Elsa Banku Mix offers you the opportunity to serve your Banku meal in minutes. Fermentation of maize and cassava is strictly controlled to give that well known taste. It is then dried, milled, mixed and packaged to be enjoyed with your Okro, Tilapia or your preferred soup. Taste tests have shown our Banku to be the number one choice when compared to other brands. 

Our Fufu Range

Fortified Tom Brown
This is a blend of Maize, Soya Beans and Groundnuts. It is also known as Winimix because its high protein content makes it an ideal product for weaning infants. It is an ideal breakfast porridge; eaten anyway you wish - as is, or with sugar and milk. It has a unique nutty flavour and is sure to be a family favourite. A bowl of easy to prepare Tom Brown will keep your energy and blood sugar levels up until the next meal. Elsa Foods has supplied this product to organizations who feed malnourished people all over the world, especially in conflict zones and post catastrophic relief operations.

Elsa Foods was established by Mrs Maldini in Ghana in 1978 to manufacture pasta; at that time there were shortages of almost all essential commodities in Ghana. In 1994 the company started production of the current range of products and moved to a large commercial site to enable it to fulfill customer demand. Ms. Maldini is still active in the managment of the business and leads a management and production team who consist mainly of women.
