 In 1994, the company's initial focus was on selling and supporting point-of-sale software for the retail market. From this, the demand grew from our customers to supply the same uncompromising service and support on computer hardware and prompted us to move into larger premises where stock and spares could be stored so that downtime on customer's machines could be minimized. 

A service center, with qualified staff and an effective log-in software system called Viper (developed in-house) to deal with customer service and support call outs, repairs and warranties etc was put into place and immediately impacted positively the company's position in the local market as a reliable and effective service provider. 

In 1999, Ultimate Solutions expanded it's services to offer customers an expansion on the already all-encompassing "total office automation solution" by creating a new company called UUNET Botswana, (aka. Interswana). Ultimate Solutions also expanded the telecommunications department further and in 2002 acquired the reseller and support rights for MITEL (a high-end PABX solution) and Samsung and have incorporated this service into our "total office automation" drive, all in the interest of expanding customer services and solutions. 

In conjunction with this service, Ultimate Solutions have developed a total communications solution including LCR (least cost routing) solutions incorporating Eriksson, Nokia and Psitek and have enjoyed great success with this solution and have received exceptional responses from our customers – who have reported savings of up to 50% on telephone bills. 

This is just another one of many customer orientated solutions designed by Ultimate solutions to save customers time and money and to increase customer's company productivity by taking away office automation consulting and maintenance issues and handling them quickly and effectively. 

In 2002, eight years on, the company experienced another growth phase and grew further by starting a sister company called BATS (Botswana Asset Tracking Solutions) specifically to offer Vehicle Management solutions that allow customers to keep track of all their vehicles from their personal desk-top, stolen vehicle recovery as well as Bitron digital CCTV security and management solution with local and remote access to improve and eliminate stock loss or shrinkage and also to improve staff productivity. 

In addition to the company's already extensive office automation offerings, Ultimate Solutions is proud to have concluded distributor agreements with both PalmOne (world leader in handheld PDA) and Nikon (world leaders in digital photographic solutions) for this region. Ultimate Solutions also enjoys extremely good relations with the two cellular service providers for Botswana, namely Mascom and Orange. 

Ultimate Solutions have employed qualified staff whose priority it is to resolve client issues. A system of prioritization is made possible by the use of the "Viper" call logging and tracking software.
