The design, planning, setting out, installation and commissioning of AC and DC power systems for telecommunications equipment including fixed network telephone systems, mobile (cellular) systems, wireless local loop systems, remote (off-grid) power systems. Equipment covered includes AC mains power, stand-by generators, rectifiers and inverter systems, battery banks, and solar/hybrid systems. Earth and grounding systems, including earth mat specification and design and implementation of lightning and surge protection.
