Our laboratory contributes to improving the surveillance of infectious diseases in a national network of local laboratories, implemented and funded by the Institut de Veille Sanitaire (InVS) .This surveillance based on anonymous laboratory data aims to monitor trends in known resistance to antibiotics and alert the authorities in case of resistance threatening the health of the population.
