Rubis Energy Rwanda markets an extensive industrial, automotive and specialist range of high-quality lubricants under the K-Lube brand. Our products meet the highest specifications demanded by most automotive and equipment manufacturers.

Our large base of commercial customers spans a range of industrial sectors such as food, transport, agriculture, mining, manufacturing, energy production and construction. We supply all types of bulk petroleum products, such as fuel oil, bitumen, diesel, and lubricants. We offer tailor-made and turn-key solutions to major infrastructure projects.

K-lube is a leading brand in motor, industrial, speciality lubricants and greases with a presence throughout Eastern Africa region. K-Lube lubricants are formulated and blended locally (in Rwanda) using advanced additive technology and highly refined base stocks.

Rubis Energy operates 1 fuel depot in Kigali with a capacity of 15.8M litres. We also operate an LPG filling plant at our Kigali depot.

In 2019, the company acquired the assets owned and operated by Kobil. With over 40 service-stations, the Rubis card payment system, K-Lube brand in motor, industrial, speciality lubricants and greases, and Rubis Gas for cooking, Rubis is now a strong player in the fuels distribution business in Rwanda.
