Abacus Parenteral Drugs Limited (APDL) is the largest parenteral drug manufacturer in East Africa that was established in 2006 and commercial production started in 2009.We have an 11,500-square-meter state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located on 36 acres of land, which leaves ample room for expansion.

We manufacture a wide range of IV fluids, including ear, eye, and nose drops, and sterile water for injection and other injectables. We employ best-in-class blow-fill seal technology. This technology enables bottle-forming, filling, and sealing to happen at a single stage, minimizing the risk of product contamination.
