Saltrama Plastics was founded in 1947 and at one stage was the largest plastic company in Africa. Currently it is one of the largest flexible plastics manufacturing companies in Zimbabwe with a capacity to produce over 300 tonnes of plastic film per month. In 1997, the company was unbundled from ART Corporation and became part of Bertgold Investments – a local based company. Saltrama Plastics owns its premises, which are located at 110 Lytton Road, Workington, Harare.

Our products are manufactured to the highest international standards. The company produces an extensive range of flexible plastics ( both plain and printed ) all to customers specification and has a complement of 200 employees.

Most of our products are polyethylene, which can be fully recycled hence environmentally friendly. Saltrama Plastics prides itself in making quality packaging to world class standards. Saltrama Plastics is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
