G4S Secure Solutions Djibouti won a manned security services contract for the French Forces based in Djibouti (FFDJ) with coverage across four geographically separate sites for the duration of 36 months effective from 1st of February 2013 The total number of manpower is up to 117 permanent staff, who are deployed on 24/24-hour posts. The FFDJ are the largest French base in Africa, consisting of approximately 1,900 personnel of which 1,400 are stationed permanently with their families that belong to both pre-positioned units and rotating forces.
