NAS Foods PLC was established in 1996 and began operation in August 2002. It is equipped with the latest technology imported from Italy, France and Turkey. Currently, it has over 800 employees including expatriates who have excellent track records in the food industry. It is the first company that produces and distributes varieties of international standard biscuits in Ethiopia and will in very short period of time, extend its portfolio in to other food products.
 
Established in 2000 with an initial investment of Ethiopian Birr 70,000,000 (US$ 8 million), NAS Foods PLC is the preeminent biscuit manufacturer in Ethiopia and the first to produce varieties of international standard biscuits. Equipped with the latest technology imported from Italy, France, Turkey and India, the company has over 1000 employees, many with decades of experience in the food and beverage industry.
 
PRODUCT RANGE
As of January 2009, NAS Foods produces over 25 different kinds of biscuits. These products are broken down into three categories based on consumer demand and market segmentation.
 
Category A
This category includes long-packed biscuits in a variety of flavors, both with and without cream.  These products are mainly targeted at the high-income segment of the market.
