Tandem Hotel was registered on 15th August 2006 under the registration of business names. The Hotel began operation in 2006 upon completion and furnishing of its own establishment in Kampala and has now 42 room capacity all equipped with modern amenities, a spacious restaurant and a conference hall facility.
Tandem Hotel also runs a well equipped branch in a quiet and friendly environment in Mbarara town in Booma area next to Mbarara University Inn with eight spacious self contained rooms, a big restaurant with ample secure parking area.
At the beginning of the year 2009, Tandem Hotel was awarded a tender to lease Mbarara University Inn for a period of 5 years effective 1st October 2009. Mbarara University Inn is the largest hotel in Mbarara, sitting on a 15 acre piece of land, with two conference halls and 2 cascading rooms, spacious gardens and a camping site.
